Graver in Coal/Oil Power Plants

Graver Water is a key supplier of water and waste water treatment solutions to traditional coal/oil power generation market.  While the U.S. Energy Information Administration estimates that NGCC plants will overtake coal as the leading fuel for power generation by 2035 and retirement of some existing coal plants are underway, the base load of coal power generation is expected to reduce and not be eliminated.

Maintenance and up-time of these plants is most important due to the age of the plant and many of the water treatment systems were originally installed over 40 years ago.  The expected life of critical water systems such as condensate polishing and more recently wastewater treatment (recent approval of new CCR (Coal combustion Residuals) and ELG (Effluent Limitation Guidelines) require additional wastewater treatment technologies.
