Position Title Lead Inspector / Quality Assurance Coordinator
Reports to (Title) VP & General Manager, Graver Water Systems, LLC
Department QA/QC

Responsible for the day to day operations of the QA/QC department and for the assurance that
Graver’s vendors and fabrication shops are manufacturing items and assemblies that meet the
requirements of Graver and our customer’s specifications. Work also includes participation in the
management and oversight of Graver’s ISO 9001 program.


• Perform inspections of assemblies and components at various locations
• Travel includes local shops, 1-6 hour driving distance
• Occasional travel domestic shops, 1-3 days approximately 1x-2x per month
• Ensure assemblies and components meet specification and design requirements
• Familiar with Graver specification requirements
• Creation of Inspection Test Plans (MIQP) for all projects; Creation and maintaining of MIQP templates
• Provide QA/QC support to internal resources
• Purchasing – answering of quality, vendor, documentation and specification requirements questions
• Vendors – answering of questions on quality requirements, documentation, specification clarifications as well as fabrication issue resolution
• Sales – review of proposals for quality requirements, specialized or potentially costly  specifications or potential schedule conflicts, assist with vendor reviews/evaluations
• Generation, Disposition and Close Out of (Internal) Process and Product NCRs
• Disposition and Respond to Customer generated NCR’s
• Attendance of bi-weekly Project Review Meetings
• Development and maintenance of standardized Inspection Checklists
• Review and Sign-off of contracted inspectors inspection reports and invoices; Action item list creation and follow up
• Evaluation of new Suppliers’ QA programs and fabrication for new work.
• Provide post inspection feedback to Engineering and Purchasing;  Forwarding of “As-Built” information, Identification of areas of improvement/concern as raised by the vendor or from the inspection process
• Final review of Vendor Data and Code books for accuracy and completeness
• Perform external vendor qualification and requalification audits
• Respond and oversee resolution of registrar identified NCRs and AOIs
• Maintain and update Quality Manual; Administration of all NCRs, CARs and PARs

• BS in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline)
• Minimum five years’ experience performing inspections of assemblies
• Knowledge of water treatment processes and equipment
• CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) Credentials
• Familiar with national code requirements for gravity tanks, pressure vessels as well as
o Steel – AWS D1.1, ASME Section VIII Division 1, API-620, API-650
o Piping – B31.1, B31.3
• Familiar with ISO 9001:2018
